Whether enjoying a cup of coffee in the solarium, making a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, or relaxing on the terrace after a day exploring nearby gorges, our guests appreciate the comfort and beauty of this historic mansion designed by Ithaca’s most influential architect, William Henry Miller.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Home away from home the moment Vicki welcomed us in is the first thing that comes to mind. No stone was left unturned, you seriously don’t have to pack a thing. We had a multi generational group, ten months to 81 yrs and everyone had the space that was appropriate for them. We each discovered our favorite spot to read, nap, rock in a chair or play in the yard. The continental breakfast was delicious ( we ate breakfast in our pjs on the limestone patio) bed sheets silky soft ( we slept in often) kitchen dishes plentiful & quirky, bathrooms a bit tired but clean. We easily walked to a gorgeous waterfall path that took us to the Cornell Campus and one block in the opposite direction was college town. Looking forward to our next get away at fountain place, hopefully while celebrating yet another joyous occasion.
